The owners of this waterfront home wanted a swimming pool but did not want to sacrifice the closeness to the water that teir previous home allowed. The solution was to place the pool on the non-waterfront side of the house, and turn it into a decorative water feature with a wall of fountains along the side of the entry courtyard. A small cabana and trellis frame the end of the pool and the outside edge of the courtyard. All rooms of the home open onto extensive decks overlooking the water, allowing the spaces to continue onto outdoor rooms.
